JVC has committed to developing the microcode, which drives the silicon-level operations of the HDTV system, and a decoding system. DiviCom will design, manufacture and distribute a complete system based on parent company C-Cube Microsystem's DVxpert broadcast encoding silicon solutions and the JVC microcode. The design of the MediaView MV40-HD is derived from the MediaView MV40, DiviCom's fourth-generation program encoder.
