UKH Shorts covering in volume! Date---------- Short Position------Change(from previous 2-week period) July 31 1997 495,500 -5,500 Dec 15 1997 443,300 + 400 Mar 31 1998 259,900 -566,800 (!) Seems as if the short-covering was accounting for much of the support in the last half of March. Note that the short position on Mar 15th must have been the sum of the last two volumes, or over 800,000 shares! I interpret this as imminent bullish news - and the shorts are abandoning ship! This is the lowest short position I've seen in well over a year. Harry K. ...
