...a gray dog slipped amongst those standing near the periphery of the scene. He froze, then gathering, he leapt. The sleepy little bird was a "puff" of feathers . After finishing his snack the gray dog snuffed around, searching for any other creatures which might provide a bit of nourishment. A serpent spotted earlier seemed to have hidden somewhere. Those gathered noticed not. The gray dog moved through those gathered again and approached the glimmering crystal. An old moot uprooted nearby showed a pale underbelly where the earth had been a shelter.

The gray dog took this opportunity to use the commode mother nature had provided and stood with leg high as a slowly growing dark spot was testament to his aim. Satisfied he moved on.

The Crystal glimmered with a lucent glow, the rich tones of golden light played along facets of the shape, illuminating it from within and without. The drying waste nearby was testament of the ongoing struggle but temporarily all was at peace.

A small disturbance broke out near the back of the crowd, apparently it had to do with work, a good natured bantering could be heard soon replaced by the whistle of a kettle and then the smell of Earl Gray.
