i think you may be reading to much into the fact fab 25 has not been qualified yet. i would bet they are doing everything that is required to be qualified, as they get their certification.

similar to having a provisional job based on you receiving a certificate, provided you qualify and do the work required, but obtain the formal certificate later.

it appears amd is still trying to crank up the .25 production, and at a significant cost according to their statement.

I think you really know nothing about how the semi business is operated by posting such a post on the thread. If AMD do not do the reliability test, the customers will do it for it !!!!!! If the product is not qualified, nothing will be allowed to be shipped !!!!!!
