It looks the latest hype surrounding AMD couldn't propel it upward this time. It's a tricky stock to short because of the hype, but I think you are right that the thrill is gone this time around. Resistance at 23; if it breaks that, look for the teens again.

AMD approaching my price target.

Copycat money-losing chip manufacturer AMD continues its freefall.

I am taking some profits off the table here by covering half my position at 16 and change. Could we see 10 a share or will the AMD culties make another run at the stock? Stay tuned!

AMD reaches my price target...

I covered one-half of my short position at 15 and change. I am debating what to do with the rest. Quite frankly, I still think that AMD is overvalued, I just wonder if I could put the money to work more profitably elsewhere and wait for another possible hype runup.

Any comments?
