NoteBook Computers - help - ARM COMPUTER

I am looking to buy a notebook and know very little about
them. I've done a little bit of reading of the following:

zdnet.com
These computers are quite expensive. The Dell is the best bang for
the buck.

Any opinions on the ARM Computers?
armcomputer.com
Buy a barebones model and configure/customize the rest.
Looks tempting.

I'm looking at the ARM TS758 - take a look at the spec sheets.
I don't know much about the monitors
Difference between Dual Scan, Active Matrix SVGA or XGA?
Worth the price difference?

My customization:
Processor choice: I may buy the 200mmx and upgrade to the
AMD 300 when it comes available. Thoughts?

Ram: probably 32 SDRAM
2.1 gig HD

Is the $199 extra for 4 years onsite warranty on parts/labor worth it?

Scroll down to the bottom and read the Spec Sheets on this computer.
Is the hardware pretty good? Their prices are VERY COMPETITIVE.

Any ideas from everyone on Notebooks in general would be appreciated.
