Jim...most of my information is simply from research, technical and fundamental analysis and reading both the Wall Street Journal and Investor's Business Daily every day. You'd be amazed how many 'professional' analysts do NOT do this and how many traders JUST use technical analysis without at least a modicum of fundamental knowledge of the company they are following. It's not really a big deal, just what I like to call my 'techno-fundamental' approach to day/short time trading. I have a couple of good software packages (i.e, metastock, technifilter, telescan) but mostly I just like reading financial magazines and 'checking' out edgar filings.
