Listen to FLIP at the Gartner confrence on real audio in a CNBC Interview. It is available on the news section at the nasdaq beta site at beta.nasdaq.com. A few highlights from the twenty minute chat: PLAT is about consolidation; has made it a part of everyday business; all going forward (and over the last year) have been/will be accretive to earnings immediately despite acquisitions, organic growth has been around 30-40% annually 1000 companies in plat's sector; in a few years will only be 5. Plat will be one of them. PLAT will be a $1 billion in revenue company this year Y2K -- PLAT is largest provider of tool sets. Growth has been 50% compounded quarterly. PLAT is "massively" ahead of the number 2 players; Euro remidiation will present more opportunity; the tools used by companies to fix y2K problem will have other multiple uses for problem solving going into the next millenium and will not be "lost money" or terminal products PLAT has been severly penalized in the market for its long term vision, but firmly believes it will be rewarded *INVESTORS HAVE A LONG TERM WINNER HERE: (this is a quote) "double, triple, even quadruple numbers" are not out of the question for PLAT given its fundamentals and future value. Those are some pretty strong statements. Give it a good listen. And then buy, buy, buy.... R/
