Bob, the money raised is used to pay commissions to the sales people who sell rear load mutual funds for 5 mutual Fund companies. The mutual fund then pays the 0.06% a yr back to the trust. It's very hard to calculate total return because it depends on 1.Fund Redemptions, 2 Fund performance and so on. I bought it because I believe at 7.50 it may trade back up to 12 in a fairly short term(3-9 months) and/or the return looks pretty attractive in that they seem to be ahead of projections in the prospectus. Time will tell...

I like closed end funds at big discount and I am exploring Installment receipts because I think there may be a low risk way of making 10% or so around the time the second installment comes due.
