IMO: the ONLY important thing is the sales of the products that
Dr Shmidt is talking about. The resultant earnings will drive the
stock price up.

I think it is a waste of shareholder money to buy back shares. I
want EARNINGS. Use the money to get those earnings up. Only
when there is strong cash flow (like IBM has) should the company
massively buy back shares, like IBM does. I hope this is soon!!!

On Novelle WEB site, everyone should go through the presentations
that Novelle gave at their recent user show, comparing Netware
upgrading to MSFT migration to NT 5.0. Which customers will
do what? THAT IS THE QUESTION!!!!!! Seems to me that the effort
to migrate to NT 5.0 is truly massive, especially given the absolutely
horrible track record that MSFT has for systems management issues.
Will NOVL customers simply wait, upgarding nothing, waiting couple
years for NT 5.0 to get easy (hah hah) or will they give NOVL another chance. I would like to see lots of announcements of BIG customers
upgading.
