Haim: There are quite a number of people now using some sort of TA--some bad and some good. Few people are willing to stay with a disciplined analysis. I accept any analysis that tries to understand human nature and the markets. However, no analysis is infallible.

In over 25 years, I cannot remember ever opening or closing a position based upon the strict fundamentals of a situation. However, I believe that fundamentals are important. I am neither a fundamental or TA purist. I view fundamentals as the reality and TA as the effort to understand the perception of or reaction to that reality.

Since joining SI last September, I have learned to appreciate and respect your thoughts.
