yes it does list applications for which there are currently no patches available. It will tell you what manufacturer you must deal with and where to locate with phone number., Much easier than looking for the info yourself.

Rick I am trying to put myself in the boots of joe public who mostly plays games on the PC, maybe uses quicken and maybe has internet access. He also has a ton of other "stuff" on his HD that he does not have a clue as to what it does. He does not have a clue as to what a Y2K problem is. When he hears that everyone has a bug in their PC while idle chit chatting at work, he wants to get rid of it. Whatever it is, he does not want it to mess up that "stuff" on his PC, just in case he "needs" it. Besides that it might screw up his games somehow. They are mad as heck and sure do not want to upgrade all that "stuff". They do not have a clue how to upgrade in the first place and sure as heck to do want to pay for an upgrade when someone else sold them a PC with bugs in it. That's when the herd mentality kicks in and they rush down to Costco, or Sam's Club to buy the 11th Hour program they heard about. They "heard" for 19.95 the program will tell them where all the bugs are and who the culprits are that caused them all this hassle. When they get home and figure out how to run the thing they find that just as they suspected there are bugs everywhere. What they do at this point is anyone's guess, but not important to us. They have bought the program and that is all that counts. The key for CSHK seems to be to get it into as many stores as they can and then spread the word as widely as they can as fast as they can so as to have the leading (or only as it stands now) PC Y2K product on the market when the heard leaders start showing up.

Just my ramblings. We will see
