Phil and all,

A couple of interesting items today. First of all it seems like Mr. Gates & company were going to try and manipulate the press and create a PR blitz to show that MSFT/Windows had broad based support. They got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Here is the link to read all about it. Any opinions on if or how Apple will be effected? Seems like this type of news tends to polarize people. Could be a huge faux pas on Microsoft's part.

Secondly, it appears that the Educators Advantage is taking orders, to be delivered in about two weeks, for the all in one machine. The 233 mhz is $1,607.00 and the 266 mhz is $1919.00, not including tax license and dealer prep. They both have a 4 gig hard drive, 24X CD and 32 megs of ram. There is no Zip drive on board and no modem. The person on the phone said "there was a lot of interest" and that she had personally sold 18 yesterday. If I remember correctly the machine described in MacOS Rumors had a Zip drive, I don't remember about the modem. Perhaps the plan is to bring an upgraded version out to the open market that has a few more features. This happened when I bought the CD5200 several years ago. -Keith-
