Max, if that's accurate (can anyone confirm/elaborate on this), it would indeed be a concern since this company should be reincorporated here in the good old U.S.A. The Canadian exchanges don't even want Naxos trading in Canada while at least one U.S. exchange has given us a semi-warm welcome that is likely to improve as the company's ASC problems are resolved. If the company is not reincorporated in the U.S., I cann't imagine that a physical move of the main headquarters here would have any tax consequences. But then again, I don't know about Canada's tax laws, which, from what you have indicated, are unusual (protectionist to the extreme).
