Yup, a point here and there can definitely be made Lance, you seem to have missed the renewed optimism in XIRC and you've got to read both this and the Yahoo board as comments are made on both - more on Yahoo actually. XIRC is going to meet its expectation - quite confident on that - and my money is where my mouth is ie. I'm long. XIRC does rise on good news, but it isn't a 40% or so rise immediately (ie. to 20) - maybe that will happen and it will surprise me, but then again, we're always surprised by things in the market. XIRC sales of modem not in Q1 earnings - of course not - they just announced they've developed the product and it is available for sale. Before an announcement like this, companies do signifcant development, testing etc. Not to worry, this just adds another horse in the stable for Q2. Of course, it will take a little bit of time to mass produce the product, but the orders will be there! There will probably be 0 sales until that date date in May and then Whooosh, a bunch of sales for which they've taken the orders. Q2 will have a bunch of revenue from the new product. Lance, if you stick around to pick up a point, your're missing the boat since there'll probably be a few points in the next few months. Earnings for Q1 will be met or exceeded for several reasons which can be found in messages here and on Yahoo by me (abcde_98) and others eg. popatop, skeeter, etc. Notice how persons such as odn1 don't say much anymore and farrel14 passed along a thank you. If XIRC makes its estimate, Carl Russo I'm sure deserves a lot of the credit for keeping the checks and balances and the other XIRC staff for developing (and staff supporting the development)the several products 6-9 months ahead of the nearest competitor 3com. All I can say is... Get Rhythm ! Many people can say things in hindsight like "Oh, I knew that", etc etc, but have the guts to state your thoughts and put money on it (shows the extent which you believe your thoughts) is a differnt story. Hang in there, there was some weakness on a couple of days, but e-day will be kind. Looks like Lance is going to be a "day trader", but like mutual funds, missing the best days of a stock can cut ones return significantly.
