Albert,

Re. only 2?

Vendors are expected to roll out 350-MHz and 400-MHz Pentium II systems, with Intel's first 100-MHz bus, on April 15 for as low as $1,500-just a few hundred dollars more than a Celeron-based system would be priced at.

Even if the upcoming Celeron falters, a version due in the fourth quarter will hike the clock speed to 300 MHz and add cache-high-speed memory for frequently used data.

Don't "gggrin" too soon.

albert - Re: "only 2? That is the worst intel product release as far as I remember"

That is ONE MORE ENDORSEMENT than AMD got when they announced their 300 MHz K6 on Tuesday.

So far: Intel 2, AMD 1.
