RICHARD,
An analyst on CBC in Canada this AM suggested a sell on part of your portfolio of "DOW Stocks" and put the money into gold stocks for a long term gain and take some risk out of your portfolio. She said the golds were not cheap right now perhaps implying as you do of a short term pull back. I know of a broker that uses charting and runs a mini mutual fund with averaged annualized gains of 35% over 15 years not counting the past year which he does not want to say what the gains were as they are unrealistic. He suggested a book called " The Visual Investor" written by the same man that does the charting for CNBC. DO you know the book? I will get a copy which can be ordered in through "Charters Books". It's about $50 Cnd..
