[SK:64050] has announceddevelopment of a set- top box for digital and analog television broadcasts. The unit allows existing television sets to be used to receive coming terrestrial digital broadcasting. Samsung said the device uses a chip set the company developed itself and is capable of receiving and converting all 18 types ofdigital broadcasting that have been approved by the Advanced TelevisionsSystems Committee (ATSC).
