The last posts are the only ones from investors selling. Some one dropped 12000 shares early yesterday that start the slide. There has been no news or any reason for anyone to sell. My broker seems to think some of the blocks going through recently have been from the original shell owner that has o cost in it and is just getting cash. From what I gather the principal of supply and lack of demand is causing the drop. Peter Norton is supposed to be selling well. I have heard that true cost is 3-5 so we are still in profit range(the actual cost has been eluding us all-no one will give out info). I also heard that it is possible that Comp USA is picking up the discount for the instant rebates- that rebate is an in store promotion to get people in. If you call Comp USA direct they still have it for 29.99 with no rebate. And as far as picking it up online for 15. How many of the target customers out there will go online to that web site to buy this software-i just don't see people shoping there needing this product. If you can get on the web, and know how to find that site-the last thing you need is pc guru. And yes peter norton did record the commericals last week and they went well but I don't know reason for delay - i watched bloomberg news channel and haven't seen anything. I also do not know delay for endcaps and stand alone displays. 1984 is on its way- i compare that to MYST- there is a market for that type game. Also I thought there was to be cross couponing with symantec- I have not heard anything about this- i think it was to be with the new versions of the symantec stuff that is not out yet.

Tommy,
I understand that there has been news which, taken as a single piece of information and over analyzed, could send a negative massage. However, I think the post immediately following yours in this thread is fairly on point. If someone has no basis in their stock and needs cash, they don't really care what happens to the price of the stock when they dump it. My only point in writing the other day was to get people to think rationally and stop working each other up with the negative energy. My assumption is that most of the investors using SI and reading (writing to) these threads are small investors. The number one difference between people who make money investing and people who don't is how they make decisions for buy/hold/sell. I have corresponded with NP and RP at MediaX. If I could afford to invest further in this stock, I would definitely do it now. The stock is essentially on sale at a huge discount to whoever is in the position to take advantage of it. The only people who profit in these types of situations are the ones who keep their heads in control of their hearts...

Thanks for responding,

DM
