Rod, I've read your thoughts here and other places. I am not supposed to even be speaking to you, actually. But others will, and some here indefinitely, and tell you how great are in the process. Enjoy. I can hardly stand to read this thread, and do much like I do a paper full of horrible stories. Just to keep up with what's going on in the mind of man.

This is what followers of Christ "Christians", were told by the Jesus the Christ. Does this sound like Hitler? Man may say he was Christian. Hitler may even have said he was a Christian, but do you see Christ in him ? I know you are going to say this is all poppycock and oh yes, codswallop, but it does not change the facts.Many, over the centuries have missused the name "Christian", or have called themselves that. If I call a giraffe an elephant,does it make it so? (Mat 7:18 KJV) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Yet I have to be careful, because even when the Archangel was contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses,did not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you. (Jude 9) I get angry also when I read history of the inquisitions, the slavery, the destruction of whole nations including the American Indians,the killing of millions of Jews, and yes a lot of it supposedly done by "christians". But I will let God be God, and trust in Him that He will not allow ME to become hard of heart. Remember our lives on this earth are but a drop in the sea, and then eternity.
