I owned this when it was Maple Resources. The same reverse split process went on and it changed it's name to Birchwood Ventures. I recall directors from the Kamloops/Prince George area of BC but the main dude was in Santa Monica or somewhere in California . I've spoken with him and he was looking for something to put in Birchwood at the time. Seems like the typical VSE scam play to me. Find a project, draw people into financings, dump your own insider cheap shares as close to the peak as possible, wait for the shares to hit rock bottom and start mopping up before and after the reverse split, change the name of the company every three years and start all over again. It's usually quite profitable for the insiders every three years.
