Seems like a sentence in about the ninth paragragh of post # 1659 written April 10, 1998 was mainly overlooked. It states that national semi is licenced to manufacture the chip. Please correct me if I am misreading this.
This is an old post but it has some very interesting information about our leader also. Lots of history.
