I think the fear about the land-based/on-line hybrids is that if a large fraction of the book buying moves on-line, the land-based portion of the hybrids will not be financially viable. Consider what would happen to their financials if they keep the same costs buy have a reduction of revenues by 25 or 30%.

gg, i meant leap puts. sorry for not being more clear. leap calls are insanity, imho... i don't get amzn either. b&n is a much better value and they have proven themselves. amazon is hot air...
