Jeff, you're being a little inconsisent here. If the whispers were really .28 (and even .30), this stock won't be 39-40 next week. I think we've already agreed on the range over the short term. You still feel this gap at 35 is important, but I think 37 is the downside limit. Upside, we both felt 42-43 is about right. The next surge up will be news (contract, not buyout) related and could occur sooner than you expect (just speculation on my part).

there should have been NO whisper numbers of any substance because Ashby provided plenty of visibility and guidance that eliminated whisper numbers having any meaning whatsoever. Those who look for whisper numbers for Ascend better get used to not having any - there won't be any for a quarter or two, maybe not for any of the rest of the year. IMHO of course, but I believe what Ashby has telegraphed to the analysts - "you can trust me to steer you straight". Dee Jay
