Mr James Owen reports

Mr Owens can take the blame for this release

Paramount Ventures and Finance and Canabrava Diamond Corporation have formed a joint venture to explore an area within the Eastern Superior province, Ontario where a new kimberlites body has been
discovered by Canabrava.

This is a new area? By the looks of the agreement Canabrava already had it staked before the previous deal.

Under the terms of the joint venture agreement, Paramount is to finance the first $800,000 in exploration costs to earn a 50% percent In the joint venture area. After the earn-in phase, the two companies will contribute further exploration funds on a 50/50
basis.

Paramount is buying into a second large tract at a cost of $800K. What do we call this? Noname Claim? or Noname East?

The kimberlite discovered within the joint venture area by Canabrava is to the east of the kimberlite pipes discovered on Canabrava's Whitefish Lake project in late 1997. These kimberlites are the first known in this part of the Superior Craton and confirm the discovery of a significant kimberlite province in north central Ontario.

OK to the east....next door? ten miles? East of the St Lawrence? Ok ....just east...And buy the way, how big is this new tract? An acre, a hectare, a township, just what the f did we get for 800K?

Kimberlite indicator minerals with good geochemistry, including sub-calcic G-10 garnets, have also been identified in a small area surveyed in the northern part of the joint venture area and suggest that more kimberlites will be discovered.

Does this mean that we have not found kimberlite materials? Just indications of the possibility of kimberlites? Or are the garnets proof of kimberlite materials and possible kimberlite structures? And by the way where is the north part of Noname East? A small are was surveyed. Well how small? I picture some guy jumping out of a copter peeing in a circle and picking up everything inside the circle. The radius dependent on the need to land.

The joint venture plans to start an aggressive exploration program in mid May. Work will include a regional geochemical program for kimberlite indicator minerals, an airborne magnetic/EMVLF survey and
drilling of priority targets.

OK. Here is where it could be stated what is happening. A bakers dozen teams, how much drilling, how expansive a survey, what kinds of facilities, how many possible targets, We could be told just what is going on and that could not be considered promotion

Canabrava and Paramount are also jointly exploring the KAP project northeast of Wawa, Ontario. Based on now kimberlite indicator mineral geochemical data released by the Ontario Geological Survey in March 1998, additional ground has been acquired by the joint venture and the KAP project is now comprised of more than 150,000 hectares of exloration claims. Exploration on the KAP project will also start in mid May.

Hey could not we ask the same questions? First how much is new area? or better yet ANSWER the same questions. What kind of work, how much drilling, what kind of exploration, what targets indicated by the report, how much money to be expended....(the list goes on)

Is this all the area? is there going to be another joint venture on additional staked properties?

This, in a very limited way, exposes a program that is far more extensive than anything Winspeer has ever done or contemplated. And it covers some significant areas where G-10s have been found. I hear the Government Report calls some of the areas kimberlite formations, but I have not read it. The truth of the matter is that this is one hell of a better investment than most of the stuff near the buffalo hills area and other such regions. History shows the diamond train, real diamonds mind you, leading to the areas within these joint-ventured areas.

Well it seems to me that there is a lot more happening than has been released. As a shareholder I would just like to know what is going on. And this release is only obliquely informative.
