As long as certain Iomaniacs like to re-visit ancient history, I decided to return the favor, but not to anyone specific, mind you. Just randomly pulled musings from Iomaniacs from a certain time period:

exchange2000.com
"I'm continually impressed with the conservative nature of KE. He downplays the growth, warns of risks, defers income, takes expenses early, and institutes hefty reserves..."

Yeah, and dumps his shares on unsuspecting shareholders leaving them holding the bag with a $6 stock!

exchange2000.com
"...at IOM's current market value and potential, a drive company or OEM would be calling IOM's board to make an offer. at this point it would be difficult to see why not. Compaq, Microsoft, WD, QNTM, Kodak (Kodak? - probably not), all have enough cash/stock to buy IOM even Coke."

Oh yeah, IOM will be bought out REAL soon! How long have we been hearing this same refrain again and again and again...

exchange2000.com
"I think that '98 earnings may come close to $2 a share (I'm assuming the follow numbers, which although optimistic, are not altogether unreasonable: 4 '97--$.28, 1 '98--$.34, 2--$.42, 3--$.52, 4--$.65 for a $1.93 a share. I see IOM hitting $80 by year-end '98."

This one was a screamer.

exchange2000.com
"IMO, I don't think there is any (0, zilch, nada) chance that n-hand won't be compatible with all prior ZIP drives...."

exchange2000.com
"...IMO, they would never pursue such a custmoer unfriendly dictorial path. They design products based on what the customers want How many customers do you think are requesting that n-hand downloadable devices only work through a proprietary $200 interface."

I have nothing to add to this one.
