I'll vote for a FLAT tax with NO tax on investments.

PS I'm using TurboTax for business, I don't like there stock calculator. Decided to do a spread sheet. I'll be writing a program in MS Access later this month to keep track of my trading.

PSS Has anybody used Quicken to keep track of their transactions, to output into TurboTax?

Garry'

First off, DON'T GO TO THE BEACH! You don't know who you could find there.

Second, I do look at the bright side. Last year, I had to do four returns, mine, spouse's, child's and mother's. This year, the spouse ran off with someone else, took the kid, and the mother is dead. Only one return this year. As if this wasn't good news enough, I am a certificated shareholder of RMIL and, tomorrow, I expect to get an Easter card from Gary or Roland or both. (It would be the closest thing I've seen to a news release in almost four months).

In fact, the only "downer" I've had all day is that it looks like I will get a decent refund. That means I had about a buck three-eighty in capital gains. My broker made more in commission than I did on the stocks she recommended. (Mike, wipe that grin off your face!)

Gotta' go Garry, I have an "interesting" social engagement tonight.

Best regards,

AD
