Kit - you say you are a TA bull. I trade both ways and just go with the trend, and since topping at 38.84 on Feb 4th, MU has been in a downward channel. What do you see as a TA bull that indicates the stock will be moving up?
I know at some point, MU will turn, but have no way of knowing, other than support levels like 25 or 22.
Please give us what you see in the tea leaves. Thanks.
Patrick

What makes you think that if Microsoft didn't have a stranglehold on the PC OS market that you would not have seen Win98 functionality sooner? We all sing the praises of competition and free markets - why shouldn't Microsoft have to play by the rules?

And don't tell me that mine is a common misconception of forever bears! That explanation is wearing a bit thin, particularly as I am a tech bull. :-)

What are trying to say?

Microsoft is there b/c they are doing a great job. PERIOD. IBM could have done this and didn't. Now should MSFT just sit around until competition ...wherever it is....catches up. Give it rest, Kit, it just doesn't happen.

So you ask will this functionality be here if MSFT wasn't in control.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Absolutely not. NADA...NICHT...NAY...you are sincerely dreaming.

Go work for Reno, she can sure use more backward thinking minds like you:-))))))))

PS: Don't mean to be to rough on you, but you are very wrong.

Microsoft is good, just like the railroads needed
common track size back in the 1880's, computers need
common set ups
An example of delay is the two working on the 56Kb
modem...that held it up for a year !

Some day we will not need microsoft and will break it
up just like the rail roads.
