Thanks for the follow-up. If the rumor were true, then SoundView's actions would make sense. I personally think that we're going to see the stock rise from these current levels, but I don't harbor any false hopes of seeing a huge, quick high. I think that we'll gradually challenge the old highs over the next quarter, and perhaps establish some new highs in the low 30s two quarters from now. I really don't expect to see much more than a nominal increase in earnings short term, but explosive growth near the end of 1998 and into 1999 as more and more companies elect to solve their Y2K problems with newer software (for example, Oracle solutions). It stands to reason that Platinum will get a fair market share of database tool sales, and data warehousing sales. Their database system tools are the best available today.
