Presently you are correct a notebook works just fine. It appears you didn't get my answer to the question. Lets see if I can put it in simpler terms. Before the Cell phones came out people never imagined they could use a phone the way they use it now. Look at GPS it's world wide coverage for navigation. I see no reason why in the future data communications can not have world wide coverage and with very high speeds. Like I always said if you think technology doesn't change then fat PC for the average home consumer will be around for a long time. I think technology does change and fat pc days are numbered due to many reasons and one of them is that data communications is growing like crazy. Which leads me into Webtv. Now WebTV is a great home consumer electronics product. This is a building block for the convergence of the PC and TV. Presently technology isn't up to speed to provide the computer applications and on demand video. In the future I could see a day when the phone is also lumped all together with digital video on demand and computer applications on demand. One observations about your favorite company MS. Why isn't Webtv being aggressively marketed? It's a great product. Could it be that it will hurt his home PC market. I think the only reason he has Webttv is for the technology in it. JMHO Mike
