Silver - zinc batterys may have high energy but a short life. The use of silver in the batteries will just make it uneconomical to use them as the price of silver goes up. Silver sinc batteries will increse the rate of stolen vehicles of such. cl >>> His theory is that in coming months silver may become a hot commodity because of its use in new high energy silver-zinc batteries. These might prove to be the answer to the present inadequacy of long-life batteries in electric cars. As an ignorant amateur in such matters, I would like to ask all of you whether this represents serious competition to cars driven by fuel cell engines?<<<
