It does not matter whether Yahoo can ever produce that $500MM valuation or not, the fact is based on the market , the value $500 MM, and IF they sell that shares on Monday morning , they can immediately cash out $500MM of dollars and buy out another company. The DEAL between CPQ and DEC is : The total shares involved is fixed, but the total dollar amount is not.But when we talk about accounting, we are talking about dollar amount, not how many shares, that will make big difference on your book !!! Is it clear enough ????????????????????????
