Alex, Thank you for uncovering this article on the economic outlook for Japan. The battle between the invisible hand and the Bank of Japan will be interesting to watch. A newsletter that I subscribe to states that 2 Japanese businesses are failing each hour of the day, and the estimated body count will be 18,000 business failures in 1998. May be the U.S. Department of Treasury can lend them one of our printing presses. With all these central bank printing presses on overdrive, I wonder if investing in forestry products might be a good idea. Terry,
