Hehehe, you guys are not alone at all. If I tell you do opportunities I missed in the last 4 weeks (well I caught 1 missed 13) you would not feel that alone or bad.

I looke at the charts every night. Last 4 weeks I found awesome looking chart patterns but was out of cash. (Tied into some oil stocks at the moment). However I should have been faster. While I sat idle CDNW went up 30%, CNCX 30%, FFGI 39%, GNET 38%, INFO 50%, NSOL 65%, OZEMY 38%, RNWK 76%. All these stocks made obvious breakouts from great looking chart patterns. Some made pull backs gave second chances like LCOS up 16% after pullback, YHOO 20%. I bought LCOS at 46 sold at 60 and had a chance to buy back at 53 after the pullback. I opted for SEEK at 21.5. 46 to 60 is 30%, 53 to 64 is another 20% add them up, you get 56% return with 2 trades and some patience.

Trust me, if you feel like you are the only one, you are not. All of us missing chances. Important thing is to be patient and not to buy a stock just because it's going up. There will be more pullback, more profit takings. Patient ones will benefit, greedy ones will lose out.

Good luck to all.

Stuck on the ground? lagging? a dog? Folks I believe this was a 6 dollar stock last summer. I can understand the frustration of those who bought in on the previous run, but someone has to get in at the top. On the next run-up you will not be those people anymore, and hopefully soon. What I would like to see is our very own run without the pack. As to the community thing, and doing great stuff like XCITE, and YAHOO, I believe that Motro's first order of business was to do some in-house cleaning and get the right people to help him. This was NOT a well run organization that he took hold of. I believe He has done the first part and is into some serious strategic positioning for INFOSEEK. I don't think he is concerned about short term share price, but is more concerned with the future of the internet and where INFOSEEK will be. If he succeeds and you are a long term investor you will be rewarded. Hell, this is already one of the best stocks I have ever owned if I sold tomorrow. Anyway that's why I am into this sooo big.
p.s. It does scare the hell out of me to be in the market these days
when a 6% gain in a day disappoints people. : )
