Yes. Here is one example:

In this case Lexmark International bought 2 million shares directly from CD&R who where selling all of their remaining shares. CD&R sold most of their remaining shares to the public (i.e. the secondary offering) but as you can see, LXK also bought shares from CD&R.

Of course in the case of CREAF, they are still prohibited by the SES from having a stock buyback program. Hopefully, this will change in a few quarters.
