Pancho,True nobody knows. Most people expect 10,000 but of course it won't go there first. When most people are selling at 8,000 I'll be buying. I can't make money without going against the grain. Maybe I am wrong. Then again I am mostly long right now .....May change soon. Good Luck. Mike

pancho,

i give you a lot of credit for hanging on to some nasty shorts that only got longer. having been there i know its a tough ride. your attitude is good. that means margin man isn't knocking too loud. i don't think you have long to wait for a good dose of reality to return to the market. there is only euphoria now.
a friend once told me a saying that has stuck with me thru the years.

every dog has its day in the sun. (im not referring to you as a dog)

your shorts have been under storm clouds for months now. the clouds are breaking. GET OUT YOUR SUNSCREEN THIS WEEK. i have been short for over half of my holdings for the last three months. i am very grateful in my selection of stocks thru this period as i have been breaking even up until the last three weeks where short profits have been surging.

i have been wrong for three months, and have at times doubted my analysis and have for brief moments felt that the market would only get more insanely overvalued. which it has done. i refuse to cross over to long side except for a very few cases. fundamentals will win out. this market has been driven by the money thatkeeps pouring in. this is coming to a halt imho. the market will start to return to more reasonable valuations. as for aol, yhoo and amzn, i see a cloud. they will fall hard as their is only hype holding them up. no mortar. i did want to short aol at 85. fortunately i had zero buying power. 65 points later in a couple months. its a great short and everyone knows that. thats the probelm. it was such an obvious short that the longs kept buying forcing the shorts ot cover and buy more. sure some new shorts have stepped in, but they feel the pain quickly. i have a feeling you wont be able to short on the way down too easily. it will fall like a rock whenever it decides to go.

good luck and buy some shades because its going to be your day soon.
