TAO TAO: If that is your opinion, I certainly accept your right to express it. I think you have slightly understated the scope of my post. There was considerably more to it than a simple claim with respect to posters on the Stockhouse thread being chased off in the sense of not being allowed to post there and having previous posts eliminated. The 'decent argument' argument or some variation makes a frequent appearance over there. As does the assertion that they only attack shorters and anti-Crystallex hypesters. That makes things very convenient for the Cyber-Nazis. They decide what qualifies as a 'decent argument' and who is a shorter, an anti-Crystallex hypester, and so on. If someone posts the same nonsense time and again with no attempt at rational discussion, it is unquestionably annoying. Simply not responding to them might be the appropriate method of dealing with them. But I don't see anyone complaining much on the Stockhouse thread over the endless 'rah!'rah! posts that wouldn't constitute the beginning of a 'decent argument' if you strung them all together. In addition to the ones who have had their posts and posting privileges eliminated there is more than enough evidence for anyone who will only open their eyes that criticism is met with scorn and abuse which is out of all proportion to what can be found on other threads. The extent of it is enough to keep many people from risking posing what might be construed as a negative question, let alone a serious criticism. There is at least one person posting on SI right now who is a raving pro-Crystallex fanatic compared to me yet s/he, not for the first time, has been attacked on Stockhouse to such an extent that it seems s/he won't post there any more. It's not conducive to discussion. If you can't figure that out without being provided a long list of who has been turfed, ridiculed, accused of being a liar, a short, a Placer plant, posting under two names, colluding with the enemy, disseminating misinformation, and so on...well, what can I say. Hang on to your opinion and welcome to the Reich. By the way, thanks for the Avalon post. Those documents should prove very interesting. Regards.
