To anyone,

I for one am feeling good about ASND at this point
and want to look forward.
I have some Jan99 LEAPS 25's & 30's that I
purchased in early Jan98 and want to turn them
over into something that I can get more pop out of
(possibly Jan99 45's to 50's). My thinking is if we
see upward (41-43) movement early in the week, I would sell
my current LEAPS, wait for a buying opp. and get into some
slightly out-of-the-$ JAN99's. However, I don't want to
let this stock run away from me if some type of announcement is
made while I'm not in it. Besides the answer that this what
investing is all about, does anyone have any thoughts?

Also, if I were to get out-of-the-$ LEAPS (like 60's for
arguments sake) and eventually some takeover occurs at $65 do I
instantaneously loose my time value? And what happens to in-the-$
calls at that point?

thanks in advance

I'd like to see those calculations..... Can you provide your numbers... My numbers don't match. Was he talking quarter over quarter or year over year? I suspect he was talking about the later...which will still put ASND well off the pace. Cisco's at around 28% year over year right now and ASND is pretty much flat. THat's alot of ground to make up.
