I'm 53, with ED following a stroke and Type II diabetes diagnosed three years ago. My ED occurred suddenly about a year ago: over a period of about a week I went from normal functioning to nearly zero. I saw a uro who tried me on prostaglandin, which had no effect at any dose, and on MUSE, which caused nothing but pain. He prescribed a pump, which I have been using with good success since then, and suggested I try Viagra when it comes available.
Without the pump, I was sometimes able to achieve slight rigidity with a great deal of stimulation, even occasionally enough for penetration, but never lasting more than about 10 seconds before going totally limp. The pump, of course, overcame this, and my wife and I were satisfied. Given the failure of other meds, I had no particular expectation that Viagra would help, but boy, was I surprised!
I took 50 mg last night, and about an hour later my wife and I engaged in various forms of stimulation, and it was just like old times! Erection came easily, remained hard for several minutes even without stimulation, and returned fully with additional stimulation. The erection felt perfectly normal, was more than adequate for the job, and subsided a couple of minutes after climax. I felt no side effects of any kind.
If this stuff keeps working this well, I'll be a happy guy! I'm delighted to report total, if unexpected, success (and my insurance pays for it)!
Good luck to all - I hope it works for you as well!

Subject: Viagara worka for me From: JayJ@erols.com Date: Fri, Apr 10, 1998 17:47 EDT Message-id: <6gm40p$s2l@bgtnsc02.worldnet.att.net>
Got a bottle of thirty 100mg Viagara tablets this moring at Wallgreens. My cost was about $66 (25% copay). I am a 59 year old who has ED all my life always diagnosed as "performance anxiery". Caverject worked occasionally for me but Muse didn't work at all; both caused pain.
I took my first Viagara pill around noon and met my partner about an hour later. I had decided to run an experiement, basically to determine what would happen over an extended period of intimacy. Following are my conclusions:
1 Viagara works excellently for me. It was more than I expected it to be.
2. I obtained mutliple, normal feeling erections during 3+ hours of sexual activity.
3. I obtained multiple "90% erections" during this period in addition to the 100 % ones mentioned above.
4. Mental stimulation concurrent with physical stimulation of any type produced full erections.
5. Mental stimulation alone (watching my partner) produced 90% erections, just barely sufficent for penetration.
6. Physical stimulation to my body (any of the ususal parts) also produced the 90% erections.
7. Between erections, when there was no sexual activity, my penis retuirned to a "normal" state, although it was not quite as flaccid as it normally is.
8. I experienced no side effects of any kind.
I hope my next use of Viagara will be as great as thiis one was. And I hope it works for everyone else as good as (or better) than it did for me.
Good luck,

To the group I contacted Walgreen's Thursday who stated they had Viagra in stock. I then contacted my URO who refused to provide prescription until he read up on product and spoke to drug rep. Not wanting to wait, I stopped in local clinic and doc wrote me prescription for 50 mg of Viagra.
History: Male, mid 40's ED for past two years. Ed is Psyco type. No physical problems.
Report: Took one 50 mg tablet on empty stomach. Erection occurred 25 minutes after taking tablet. Erection is of a more natural type which requires sexual stimulation to maintain. Erection went down within three minutes of climax.
Side effects: None, except slight flushing of face.
Opinion: Very satisified with results. It did not give me a dick like a 18 year old, but assisted me in a natural way. Also it did not raise my libido in any way which I found helpful. I would recommend it highly.
Any questions on my experience, please e-mail me. Thanks!!
Note: my Insurance covered drug, Only paid $5. for bottle. __________________________________

Hi all: I used viagra for the first time last night and the results were everything you could hope for. I got my script filled in Anchorage for just under $8.00 dollars a pill and only had to pay the $12.00 co pay. I'm 43, insulin dependent diabetic for many years. I'm impotent. Have tried vacuumm therapy, Prostiglandin E-1 and later switched to caverject. I take testosterone shots because my testicles crapped out years ago. I've got high blood pressure due to kidney desease. I also have kept really tight blood sugar control since day 1 when I was diagnosed with diabetes, but I just have a really brittle body that hasn't handled diabetes well. Luckily, I'm married to a wonderful, beautiful, and very understanding wife. I took 50 mg. And unlike shots where in 10 to 20 minutes you get a very rigid erection. This is more natural. As I became aroused from my loving wife, I achieved a very nice erection that felt natural. Not rock hard like you get from caverject. After orgasm, my erection went down like a normal erction would. My wife made the statement that she felt like she was screwed by a man. Not by superman with a rock hard dick. It felt better to her. I haven't felt like this for years. Pfizer has a hit

Subject: Viagra Report: zilch From: dgibson@horizon.hit.net (Don Phillip Gibson) Date: Thu, Apr 9, 1998 23:16 EDT Message-id: <352e8d00.4663725@news.hit.net>
Well guys, I got all excited this morning when my pharmacist friend phoned to report that Mr. Delivery Man had just dropped off a small supply of Viagra. I hurried down at noon time to pick up three 100mg tabs.
But this evening I took 50mg (splitting a tab) and 40 minutes later took another 50mg. Zilch.
So I'm one of those 55% post-radical prostatectomy losers, though I'm just 5« months past surgery and still have some reasonable hope for return of function. (And PPP does work really well for me in tiny doses.)
Better luck to the rest of you!
