Hi Christine One whole lamb for thirteen people, outrageous, considering what was required for everybody in Jerusalem to get a bit of lamb on the passover. A regular production line had to be made to kill enough lambs within the proscribed period. It was bloody work and they had it down to a science. It is interesting that crucifixion was the preferred method of dealing with "criminals" under Roman Law, it certainly was common.
