I don't think it's that important an issue, because the search count was "shared", no doubt, when Yahoo had 65 million page views in December. What's important is the growth trend, and the issue is meaningless to Yahoo's top line while Yahoo is less than 20% sold. All of Yahoo's content areas are showing parallel growth, search is 30% of Yahoo's traffic, and keyword rents (the bigger money) go to Yahoo.

As far as I'm concerned, let 'em fight it out. I have as much money in DoubleClick anyway (actually just a bit more), and I want to see DoubleClick Network's page views get comfortably over 50 million soon.

Anyone know how the point of extreme pain is stacking up for options expiration on Friday?

Thanks,
Marc
