With the current volume (a.k.a. liquidity)? Not possible. Period. And, for the most part, short sellers tend to do a lot more homework than you can apparently imagine. Rah, Rah, Siss, Boom ba, fight, fight, fight, Raw Raw Raw. Jeesh what a load of horse pucky. Get a grip. To be a good short one must do MUCH more homework than I have seen 99% of this thread do. Takes guts, research, agility and a little luck don't hurt. It sure can pay off big and happen fast, but I don't short as often as I like because it's so damn much HARD WORK! The short squeeze is most often a myth. Hardly ever happens in reality. Sure they happen, but they are like an airplane crash. They get lots of publicity when they happen and it looks more dangerous than it actually is. If I were going to short it WOULD NOT be on an earnings play. Too much a gamble. ASND will most likely bounce around a bit this week and then begin a nice even ascent. (well, as even an ascent as you get with a stock that's got a BETA of 2)
