Sid,

Just curious about your Ballard stance. Doesn't matter to me whether it's for or against - but since you're predicting low prices, are you shorting Ballard? Or are you keeping to puts? I would think that anyone so sure of themselves would have their money on the line. Or do you think that what you might consider fanatics will drive the price up on any serious news or news that could be construe as being serious?

OK, I think it's time for a cross-benches....
(sorry if I am a little late into the discussion)

First of all, Sid, they accusations against you are well founded. You have made many erroneous statements on this thread, and then pretend that you have not. So once again I will refer to my pointing out some of your "classics":

Msg 654 (no more deals with other auto co's now that D-B bought in)
Msg 755 (more of the same)
Msg 761 (outsourcing won't happen; D-B deal is both good and bad)
Msg 946 (100X reduction still required)
Msg 934 (Ballard must subsidize service stations; only 5000 buses ordered in all of North America)
Msg 918 (Ballard has no battery division)
Not to mention shorting BLD around $115 Cdn....

(most of these are errors, but a few of them are technically not - however, I included them because they are just so ridiculous).

Now, to everybody else who insults Sid and calls him a liar, etc.
While he has made some errors and doesn't readily admit to it, Sid is clearly very well read, and has contributed a lot to this thread, with numeric data, identifying competitive threats, commercialization challenges, etc. His info is usually correct, the above list notwithstanding, and although his conclusions differ from mine, he forces the bullish among us to substantiate our opinions, and that is healthy. I appreciate his input, and I hope that the petty personal attacks will stop, so we can benifit from the well-researched contrary opinion that he provides.

He has also done very nicely with his ERC investment.

Regards,
Garth.
