NANDA, Based on the 3/31 Morningstar Stock Tools data base it appears that the recent strength in IMRS,MAST and other service providers is due to Mutual Funds previously owning the stocks significantly adding to their positions. Lord Abbett Developing Growth, PBHG Growth, and Putnam OTC and Emerging Growth appear to be heavy Y2K backers. Seligman Communications & Information fund is a new strong player. It recently bought about 1 million shares of MAST,CPWR, and VIAS. Lord Abbett took significant positions in ACLY and MIFGY. I have no information on TAVA or SYNT ownership.
