~What is your belief that lies ahead when you die. ~

Basically a light if anything. Since my mind and brain will erode here on earth will I have thoughts after death or an awakening that I will able to remember. Depends on what you are taught all you life. Are ghosts those spirits that were not good enough for heaven but too good for hell so trapped here on earth? Do they think if so how? Since most doctrine teach "nothing of this world" in the afterlife I really can't say to be honest with you. I hope there is a heaven and pray there is no hell.

~ Even though you wish to live by high standards do you consider yourself perfect? ~

LOL Heck no I am the most imperfect being in the world. I sin by the rule of overly indulging alone. Do I lust after women yes but only in my mind. I honor and respect others belief and try not to judge people to harshly but some ask for harsh judgements. Question: if I were a perfect human would I been also possibly considered a son of God???

~Can you give me a good reason why you exist and were you came from.~

I exist because lucky my mother and father planned my birth. I came form the union of my father's seed that fetilized my mother's egg.

~Do you believe in evolution?~

Well that is a tough one. for centuries human beings have not changed much have we in 2000 years. I believe in evolution but we do have the missing link you know. Do I believe in Adam and Eve? Well that is a tuff one also. I have been taught to believe in Adam and Eve.

~Do you look upon God as a Father figure and what is your thoughts on Jesus.~

Father figure ... no I would say more a force of good and Satan as a force of evil that influences the character of thinking rational being. As far as Jesus he was titled the son of God by man. He teachings and miracles so expressed in the bible demonstrates and good spiritual man. Question: What organized religion was Jesus?

~ I read your post but most of it I never heard before;

So they took the sword of Marduke and slew his mother Eurynome and then named Marduke Jehovah... thus the Sword of Jehovah.

????????????~

In the archaic religious system there were, as yet, neither gods nor priests, but only a universal goddess and her priestesses, women being the dominant sex and man her frightened victum. Fatherhood was not honoured, conception being attributed to the wind, the eating of beans or the accidential swallowing of an insect. Inheritance was matrilineal and snakes were regarded as incarnationsof the dead. Eurynome (wide wandering) was the goodesses title as the visible moon. Her Sumerian name was Iahu (exalted dove) a title later passed on to Jehovah as the Creator. It was as this dove that Marduk symbolically sliced into at the Babylnian Spring Festival when Marduk/Jehovah inaugurated the new world order. Note: Ophion is with in hte Hebrew myth.

~Also if you believe in life after death, do you believe we will have eternal bodies without sin?~

Physical bodies no. spiritual form yes. Cognizant I do not know for spiritual does not have a collective agent to store information. Is religion and the soul in the afterlife really important to know? If there is a rational thought pocess after death in the spirtual form can not sin exist?

As I enter into this realm of religion discussion I wonder about all the blind faith believers of each religion. What really matters is the character of the living. Religious belief is what establishes that character. If someone tells me I am going to hell for my open view to all relgious beliefs then I merely view that person a hypocrit plain and simple. If some flames someone for their belief I consider that flamer a moron and bigot. All teachings of all religions I know and have studied or looked into clearly define the good of man and the teaching of those that do not understand. Flaming and bashing because you believe differently is against all doctrines I know.

These type sit in an ivory tower looking down on others. I am a mere knave and I live my life by the morality of the bible, teachings of my peers and I use the brain I was given. I cannot be classified as any religion or lack there other. I am a very spiritual man. The worst christians I know are generally those that profess to be and attend church regularlly however the best christians I know are the ones that walk the path of what a christian is and demonstrates their belief in every step they take.

Question: If you are a man of moral character and you have no formal religion but live a life defined within all doctrines as a good man are you in fact a religious person? (Christain is a popular word but would not sure if it applies to all beliefs.)

~Do you believe in sin?~

Oh Yes ... Guilty as charged probably on a daily basis depending on who's belief you ask.

I pray also so I must believe in something. We all believe what we are taught.

GaBard

PS ever want to be flithy rich start a religious belief.

Alan, I posted to your response to GaBard's unusual findings from history instead of to GaBard.

But isn't this fun? Who would have guessed in August we would all be here? Go figure.

But this new concept of Jehovah goes off the Reichter scale. I am most curious to trace it.

TO GABARD IF YOU CARE TO RESPOND, AND IF YOU DON'T, DON'T. JUST CURIOUS.

What drugged out hippy did you get that pagan ancient history from?
It's as bad a made up thing as I've ever heard. But, please, please, please, source and bibliography that led you to such a
find.]

Now, honestly, I'm not trying to be cute here, but is that something that maybe aliens who abduct and do little brain transplants on people and then they go on "Sightings" show on Fox, is that perhaps the source. Cosmic? I've never wandered across such pagan horse dropping in mylife, and I've had to step through about all of it.
Any new source is always interesting. Anyway, source?

I have some state of the art sources--Hyslop, who held a chair at Cambridge and was rather beyond the PhD stage. His work the Two Babylons, involving all pagan caca, did not even entail that one.

Alan and ga bar:

Before reading the suggested book king of glory consisting of around 600 pages, you may consider a brief biographical sketch of the author and his lifes work. Think its only a couple pages.
