Been reading this thread for months. long apple a few hundred shares. grew up in the 60's colleges late 60's lots of philosophy & finally an engineering career. no doubt ever that MS is the BEHEMOTH, the conforming moneymaking standard life in the suburbs retire at 50 & play golf thereafter & life, why that's just being successful. that's their pitch. not OS or price (do $500 or $5000 buy you more brains?) CONFORMITY apple, yeah, go to COMPUSA and they'll throw their hands up and look at you sideways for using APPLE. we are the underground. the losers. we have syphillis. soft heads. all the more that i'm glad to see & hear Apple people. we're not going to win on the money or speed or marketshare or etc issue. but damn, life is stronger & wiser than computing. why did we all go to school? so we could be dominated by a bunch of robot-marketers from Redmond? i am really disappointed whenever i read Apple people defending using an apple machine. didn't all of you people grow up in the USA, where it's good to be an individual? does that have to be defended now?
