Hi mnmuench, I watched a program on James Ellroy last night on Bravo channel. He wrote "L.A. Confidential". His most recent is "White Jazz". That is a fellow that follows his own trail. With mainstream popularity now, he may not be an author you read these days but for this novice of the pulp crime genre, I thought he was fascinating. warm regards, ghunk
