Many Threaders do not use the NEXT button. Instead they use the BACK button and look only at the message "titles", if you will. Looking at a thread this way can save a lot of time, you don't have to read everything. Sometimes I use title mode only, that is the or mode that you may have seen me use, you must read the post. In conversation I often use <eom>, or end of message, to allow those who use the BACK button on their browser to avoid a load of the message, which requires time, the <eom> signifies to those readers that the comment is complete, or End Of Message. Title vs Conversation, or BACK vs NEXT is a very large part of communication here on SI. Medium tips by Graystone
