Bruce, Tell me about the eyeglasses? And what's a SWIAS? I was in your store a few weeks ago, on my battery quest. If I'm ever in mid-town on a Saturday, I'll stop in and say hello. All I can say about the G3/300 is "wow" and I've owned a huge number of top-of-the-line Macintoshes. Even typing is so much smoother and faster on line. In comparison, there was molasses in the keyboard on the 3400/240. I'm in heaven. I can't imagine anyone trying a G3 and not snapping it up. And these sale prices are fabulous.

Linda

I'm now your happy black-polo-shirted Macintosh Specialist at the 5th Avenue CompUSA.

That's funny, because I was just in there pestering a salesperson at that store with questions about sales and inventory. Maybe it was you.

Anyway, this salesperson had some numbers: he said that Mac stuff accounts for 15% of total sales, about 18% at this particular store. He said the G3s are flying out the door. I noticed a lot of boxes for 6500s around, so I asked how many there were left. He looked it up in the computer and came back with: "six." So I guess those boxes were empty.

Though I'm sure the store was tiny compared with most, I was impressed with it, and his knowledge. He even knew what MacMAME is--Mac Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

Good news, at any rate. We may see higher sales than Q1 if this is any indication.

If it was you Ian, hello, and thanks for being so helpful.
