Mike, One of the interesting things about this thread is the diversity of the investment types. Much of the chatter, concerns and hype is from the short term traders. Their perspective is interesting , but generally not of concern to long term investors. You can get caught up in all of the hoopla though if you are not careful. I for one am very pleased with the conference call. Not only was the recent quarter a good one but the future looks bright with the Company deferring income from the Q. and new "killer" products coming on line. I expect the next quarter will be easy for Ascend to make and exceed and add additional credibility to Ascend Mgmt. I believe the stock value will continue to be volatile both ways due to the industry, PE, current market (DOW) values etc. The key for bonafide longs is to stay the course as long as the basic fundamentals and outlook stays as is and continues to improve. Good luck to all. I appreciate the work that many are doing on this thread such as Dennis and Gary Korn. I also like the other Gary as he provides balance to the thread. OT - Other Gary - Could you manage to get Cisco stock to fall a bit because I would like to buy again. Made nice money on it in past but think it is too rich at current price. Regards Neil

ALL OT-BAY An interesting article from IBD with David House. I think Bay is a good buy at this price (24 and change). Just for the record I do have a small number of shares in Bay. Message 4030766 Regards Neil
